Canvas & Peg Indoor Tepee Tent Hire – Terms and Conditions

On payment of a deposit you are accepting our Terms and Conditions, please ensure you have read them thoroughly.

A booking is confirmed by a £50, non-refundable deposit. Your chosen date is not secured until the deposit is received and cleared. The remaining balance plus an additional £50 security deposit is to be paid in full 14 days before your party. The security deposit will be refunded once everything has been collected undamaged and fully tested, (usually within 48hrs). Breakages/replacements must be paid for. Where possible these will be deducted from your deposit.

We are based in Clapham, South West London and will travel to a 5mile radius of surrounding areas. We are happy to travel further afield for a small fuel surcharge.

Appropriate provision of parking must be supplied and all parking costs and congestion charges (if any) must be paid for by the hirer.

We will deliver and set up the package before the party and pack it away after the party is finished – we will discuss a convenient time at booking.

Tepees are for indoor use only.

Please do not let or try to keep house pets away from the tents as much as possible. Everything is washed but animal hair can be very hard to remove.

The party hirer is responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of inappropriate use or reckless use of any equipment.

We require easy access. In the event the access is limited or difficult we have full discretion as to whether the party can go ahead. No refund will be given if limited access was not disclosed at booking.

Please advise if any party guest has any relevant dietary/allergic conditions, (including food, materials) at booking. We are not responsible for any condition we were not advised about at the time of booking.

We are not responsible, at any point, for the welfare of the children at the parties, this remains the full responsibility of the hirer. 

The hirer is responsible for ensuring there is adequate indoor space for the party booked. Each tepee requires 185cm x 120cm. Tray tables are 56 x 36 cm. We do have smaller foam mattresses available for smaller children, these are great if you are short on space. They measure 140cm x70cm, do let me know if you would prefer these mattresses.

Canvas and Peg reserves the right to substitute items/products for similar items/products as and when required.

Smoking is not permitted in the proximity of the tents. If smoking is detected the hirer shall forfeit the full security deposit. 

We will accept no liability or responsibility to the hirer for any damages, costs, losses or expenses to the property of the hirer, any third party or their guests. We shall use all reasonable skills, care and diligence to provide the party service.

•In the event a party is cancelled by the hirer the following will apply:

- Up to 14 days prior, the deposit will be lost

- 13-7 days prior to the party date, 25% of the total fee will be refunded

- 7 days before the party you are liable for the full cost of the party. 

In the unlikely event that Canvas & Peg need to cancel we will refund the total paid but we will not be liable for any compensation.

Canvas & Peg have suitable public liability insurance.
